June Brodbeck

     June Brodbeck was born on 4 May 1917 at Stamford, Ct. She was the daughter of Frederick J Brodbeck and Naomi Boyer. June Brodbeck married Elmer H Kratz in January 1939. As of January 1939,her married name was Kratz. June Brodbeck died on 17 August 2008 at Homestead, Miami-Dade, FL, at age 91; KRATZ, JUNE, 91, passed away Sunday morning, 17 August 2008, rejoining her husband of 66 years, who preceded her in 2005. Survivors include two sons, Dr. Gerald Kratz (Peggy) of Miami, Bruce Kratz of Charleston, SC, and a nephew, Denny Brodbeck (Joyce) of Miami. She leaves seven grand daughters: Kristine Patten (Charles) and Courtney Kratz of Miami, Tawnya Brazel (Greg), Tamara Brown (David) and Teri Kratz of Charleston, SC, Nicole Kratz of Santa Barbara, CA, and Eliza Gorgas of New York City. There are currently eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Visitation will be held Thursday, 21 August 2008 from 10 AM to noon at Branam Funeral Home in Homestead, 809 Krome Avenue, 305-247-3131. There will be a memorial service that afternoon at 1:00 PM at Cutler Ridge United Methodist Church, 20740 Old Cutler Road (305-235-6651).
