Peggy Ann DeForest was born on 20 May 1939 at Norwalk, CT. She was the daughter of Charles Stanley DeForest and Hazel Mae Webster. As of 28 June 1958,her married name was Hooper. Peggy Ann DeForest married Donald R Hooper on 28 June 1958. Peggy Ann DeForest died on 2 March 2015 at Somers, CT, at age 75; Peggy Ann Hooper, 75, of Somers passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at Johnson Memorial Medical Center in Stafford. She was born May 20, 1939 in Norwalk. Peggy was the first born daughter of the late Stanley and Hazel (Webster) DeForest. Peggy was raised in Coventry and was a graduate of Windham High School. She lived much of her life in Somers before moving to Phoenix, AZ for twenty years and was employed by the State of AZ until she retired. She later moved back to Somers to enjoy spending time with her family. Peggy enjoyed her faithful dog Cody, researching her family genealogy, solving Sudoku puzzles, playing online Scrabble and Words With Friends, gardening and much more. Predeceased by her husbank Rick Waterhouse, Peggy will be dearly missed by her surviving children, Diana Wilcox and her husband Edmond of Harwinton John Hooper of Windsor Locks Suzanne Hooper of Windsor and Donald Hooper of Winter Garden, FL; four siblings, Carole McHugh of Somers, Phyllis DeForest of Leominster, MA, Alan Lander of Stafford and Robert Sargent of Enfield; her four grandchildren, Leah Christopherson of Brooklyn, NY, Justin Hooper of Windsor Locks, Karlie Carr and Raymond Hooper of Winter Garden, FL; she also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and extended family. Services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
