She married Captain Henry Butler, son of Henry Butler and Elizabeth (?), on 9 October 1808 at Dutch Reform Church, SI, NY. As of 9 October 1808,her married name was Butler. Magdalena Ellis died on 3 August 1814 at Staten Island, NY, at age 22.
