Archibald Mains Kitzmiller He was Chief Clerk at Harper's Ferry (Virginia) Armory, was taken prisoner during John Brown's Raid and gave testimony to a Senate Select Committee afterward. He was born on 18 December 1811 at Leesburg, Loudoun Co., Virginia. He was the son of Captain Martin Kitzmiller and Elizabeth Heagy.
