     Johan Jacob Kitzmiller began military service at York Co., PA.1 He was buried at Christ Reformed Church Cemetery, Littlestown, Adams Co., PA. He He served as a 1st Lieutenant of the 8th Company, 8th Battalion of the York County, Pennsylvania Militia. He was named as the person who accidently killed Dudley Diggs in a scuffle for property. He was a Miller in Germany Twp.

He was born on 28 February 1730/31 at Conewago Twp., Adams Co., PA.1 He was the son of Hans Martin Kitzmiller and Julianna Benckner.1 Johan Jacob Kitzmiller was baptized on 19 April 1731 at Christ Reformed Church, Littlestown, Adams Co., PA. He was christened circa 1735 at Christ Reformed Church, Littlestown, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.1 He married Anna Elizabeth Selle, daughter of Peter Selle, in 1754. Johan Jacob Kitzmiller began military service in 1776 at 1st Lieutenant of the 8th Company, 8th Battalion of the York County, Pennsylvania Militia.. He died on 16 October 1808 at Hanover, York Co., PA, at age 77.1
