     Melchoir Joseph Petitjean immigrated to Aboard the ship "Fides", departing Antwerp 3 July 1855 and landing at New York 17 August 1855.3 He was born on 29 December 1795 at Beauvechain, Brabant, Belgium.1 He was the son of Jean Baptiste Petitjean and Catherine Barbara Frix.2 Melchoir Joseph Petitjean married Marie Barbe Cesar on 5 June 1819 at Beauvechain, Belgium. Melchoir Joseph Petitjean was (an unknown value) in 1870 at Farmer, Casco (Luxemburg) Township, Kewaunee County, Wisconsin.4 He died before June 1880 at Kewaunee Co., WI.2
