Married William Trimble, lived in Hopewell Township, Cumberland County, Pa., where Newberg now is. William Trimble contributed to the building of the old stone church at Middle Springs, Cumberland County, in 1781.

licensed Oct. 8, 1823, by the Presbytery of Carlisle, Pa. Was
a missionary in Indiana in 1823 and 1824, and d. at Madison,
Ind.





She was buried at Erie City Cem, Erie, Pa. She was Ancestral File Numbe at 14V8-L1D. She was born on 28 April 1787 at Cumberland, Pa. She was the daughter of James Sterrett and Anna McKnight. Jane Sterrett married Sheldon Ball between 1801 and 1834. As of between 1801 and 1834,her married name was Ball. Jane Sterrett died on 26 August 1848 at age 61.
