She worked at Yale Manufacturing Co. and then for many years at Stamford Trust Company which later became Union Trust Co.
She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in White River Junction, as well as the Hartford Historical Society, the Vermont 1918 Club and the Quechee Home Dem Club.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, arts and crafts, especially crocheting and knitting, as well as taking daytrips.
Survivors include a nephew, Raymond "Vandy" Van Wagener; and three nieces, Gretchen Dailey, Erica Hilary and Kristin Holland.
She was predeceased by her husband in 2004; and a brother, Raymond Van Wagener, in 2004.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with burial following in Hartford Cemetery in White River Junction.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 749 Hartford Ave., White River Junction, VT 05001.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction.
